I am taking interest now for a beginner’s yoga course starting Wednesday 9th January. The course will run for 4 weeks on Wednesday evenings 6 – 7.30pm. The cost of the course is $80 and includes a yoga handbook. This is a great way to kick-start your New Year’s yoga practice.
This will be a valuable opportunity to learn the following:
- Foundation and alignment of the most common postures (asanas)
- Yogic breathing (pranayama)
- How to link breath and movement
- How to do sun salutations (surya namaskara)
- Relaxation techniques
All equipment is provided and I have an extensive library of books and DVDs which will be available for loan over the four weeks.
